Amalia Cascina in Langa

Nebbiolo

About this wine

The estate's classic Barolo DOCG is a blend sourced from the Bussia Fantini and Le Coste di Monforte crus, both within Monforte d'Alba. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, the grapes are macerated and fermented in stainless steel for about 20 days before aging in large French oak casks (botti) for roughly 24 months, followed by further bottle refinement. It captures the balance of power and elegance typical of Monforte d'Alba Barolo.

Beginner's Note

Sommelier's Note

"A must-try classic Barolo that captures the soul of Monforte d'Alba with excellent value relative to the estate's single-vineyard bottlings."
