Jaterre Koshu is a barrel-fermented white wine from 8 vin-yard MISAKA, crafted exclusively from free-run juice of Koshu grapes grown in Misaka Town, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Fermentation and aging take place in French oak barrels, layering elegant toasted-oak aromatics over the fruity, citrus-driven character of premium Koshu. The result is a refined, soft-textured white with 13% ABV that showcases the winery's oak-aging expertise alongside its flagship free-run Koshu.
A showcase of how thoughtful oak aging can elevate Koshu's delicate character into something more layered and food-friendly.
