SunSun Niagara is a dry white wine made from 100% Niagara grapes grown at Sun Sun Winery's own estate in Shiojiri, Nagano. Early- and late-harvested Niagara is blended and cold-fermented to tame the variety's characteristically bold, candy-like aroma, yielding fresh citrus and white peach notes with a whisper of muscat-like floral lift, bright and gentle acidity, and a clean, light-bodied finish. The 2023 vintage won the Silver Medal and Cost Performance Award at the Japan Wine Competition 2024.

Sommelier's Note

Proof that Niagara doesn't have to be sweet — SunSun ferments it fully dry and keeps every ounce of the grape's perfumed, muscat-like charm.

New to wine?

A gentle, easy-drinking introduction to Japan's Niagara grape — aromatic but fully dry, never cloying.

Food Pairings

Its bright acidity and light body make it an easy match for Thai-style khao man gai (chicken rice), chicken ham, grilled seafood, and citrus-dressed salads or ceviche.

When to drink it

Casual weeknight dinners, Asian-inspired dishes, and everyday sipping.

Terroir & Winemaking

100% Niagara from the Shiojiri estate, blending early- and late-picked fruit; cold-fermented to restrain the variety's pronounced aromatics and finish fully dry. ABV 11%.
