Sparkling Brut Blanc is Sun Sun Winery's traditional-method (bottle-fermented) sparkling wine, made from 100% Chardonnay grown at the winery's own Kakizawa estate vineyard in Shiojiri, Nagano. Undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle, it shows delicate aromas of pear and black tea, with gentle fruit, crisp bracing acidity, and a fine, persistent mousse. It is the winery's white-grape sparkling bottling, distinct from its Merlot-based Sparkling Brut Rose.
A rare bottle-fermented Chardonnay sparkling from Nagano -- its pear and black tea nuance and fine mousse show real ambition beyond a simple carbonated white.
