Tade is a rosé wine from Kasugai Winery Haru no Kaze, an urban winery in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, made from 100% Steuben grapes sourced from Yamagata Prefecture. Across its vintages the wine consistently shows a vivid pink to raspberry-cherry hue, with charming aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and American cherry alongside candy-like, cotton-candy sweetness typical of Steuben. On the palate it is soft-acid, semi-dry, with very light tannins and a smooth, fruit-forward, gently lingering finish; some vintages add notes of tobacco leaf for extra depth. It is one of three original releases (alongside the red Ki and white Nei) from this small-batch, hand-finished winery.

Sommelier's Note

Steuben rarely gets this much personality in a rosé — Tade's candy-bright berry aromas and soft, round palate make it one of Haru no Kaze's most immediately likeable wines.
