HIDEO ESTATE is a one-man wine brand founded by Hideo Yasui in Otsuka-cho, Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture. Yasui planted his first vines in Otsuka on March 20, 2022, and released the debut vintage exactly three years later, on March 20, 2025. The wines are made under contract at Tokoname Winery Neighborhood in nearby Tokoname City, drawing on the winery's local expertise while the fruit itself comes from Yasui's own Otsuka vineyard. A passionate football fan, Yasui named the wines in his first vintage series after legendary players: "Otsuka Rose (for CRUYFF)," a dry rose from 100% Muscat Bailey A, and "Otsuka Blanc (for HIDE)," a crisp dry white from 100% Chardonnay.
