The wines are made under contract at Tokoname Winery Neighborhood in nearby Tokoname City, drawing on the winery's local expertise while the fruit itself comes from Yasui's own Otsuka vineyard. A passionate football fan, Yasui named the wines in his first vintage series after legendary players: "Otsuka Rose (for CRUYFF)," a dry rose from 100% Muscat Bailey A, and "Otsuka Blanc (for HIDE)," a crisp dry white from 100% Chardonnay.
