Gokase Winery's signature white wine, made from 100% locally grown Niagara grapes in Gokase, Miyazaki Prefecture. It shows a beautiful golden hue, with an aromatic bouquet reminiscent of osmanthus (kinmokusei) blossoms layered with fresh grapefruit notes, leading to a refreshingly sweet, easy-drinking palate. Sold in a standard 720ml bottle as well as a convenient half bottle.

Sommelier's Note

One of the clearest expressions of Niagara in Japanese wine — golden-hued, osmanthus-and-grapefruit aromatics over a refreshingly sweet palate that never feels heavy.

New to wine?

A gentle, grapey, and honestly sweet white — one of the easiest ways to start exploring Japanese wine.

Food Pairings

A natural match for lightly sweet or vinegared Japanese dishes — think tempura with a pinch of salt, sunomono, or nanbanzuke — as well as mild soft cheeses and fruit-forward desserts. Its gentle sweetness also tames the heat of mildly spicy Asian dishes.

When to drink it

Casual afternoons, picnics, or as an aperitif before a meal.
