DRY ROSE is a rosé bottling from Enzan Wine, the small family winery in Koshu City, Yamanashi led by third-generation winemaker Koki Hagiwara. Unlike the winery's Koshu-focused white wines, this cuvee blends table grape varieties Kyoho and Pione with the wine grape Muscat Bailey A, all grown in Yamanashi Prefecture, to produce a pale pink, dry rosé. It shows fragrant aromas reminiscent of white peach and cherry, a light body, crisp acidity and a touch of soft tannin from the Muscat Bailey A component, finishing clean and food-friendly. It is packaged in 750ml bottles and sold at an accessible price point.

Sommelier's Note

A rare example of a Japanese rosé built from table grapes rather than classic wine varieties — Enzan Wine channels Kyoho and Pione's natural fragrance into a genuinely dry, food-friendly glass.

New to wine?

A friendly, easy-to-drink rosé that eases newcomers into Japanese wine without the intensity of a tannic red.

Food Pairings

Its light body and crisp acidity make it a versatile food wine: try it with fruit salads, caprese, carpaccio of white fish, or a casual lunch of pasta. It also works well as an easy-drinking aperitif.

When to drink it

Great for casual gatherings, outdoor picnics, or a light lunch with pasta or salad.

Terroir & Winemaking

Dry to off-dry in style with light body, crisp acidity and gentle tannin. Bottled at 750ml.
