Muscat Bailey A Nigori is Chateau Sakaori Winery's unfiltered nouveau red, made entirely from Yamanashi-grown Muscat Bailey A grapes. Vinified using a rotary maceration tank and bottled without filtration, it retains fine lees that give the wine a cloudy ('nigori') appearance. The result is a dry, light-bodied red with the variety's characteristic gorgeous, fruity aromatics and an easy-drinking mouthfeel — a distinct, still red counterpart to the winery's separate 'Muscat Bailey A Rosé Nigori Sparkling' cuvée, which is a bottle-fermented rosé sparkling wine.
