Cave de Turckheim
カーヴ・ド・テュルクハイム
One of Alsace's most respected cooperatives since 1955
Founded in 1955 by grape growers around the medieval town of Turckheim at the mouth of the Munster Valley, Cave de Turckheim is one of Alsace's most respected wine cooperatives. Today around 216 grower-members cultivate roughly 400 hectares of vines stretching from Ribeauvillé to Wuenheim, including parcels within four Grand Cru sites — Brand, Hengst, Ollwiller and Sommerberg. Guided by the belief that a wine's character is already present in the grape, the cellar's winemaking team favors gentle whole-cluster pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation and minimal intervention to preserve fruit purity and terroir expression across the full range of Alsace varietals: Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Crémant d'Alsace.
