About this wine

A Langhe Nebbiolo named in honor of Maria Grazia Giacosa, the fourth-generation family member who runs the estate. Made from Nebbiolo grown in estate-owned vineyards next to the winery, it offers a broad, fruity bouquet of raspberry and redcurrant with a dry, full, structured, and mineral palate — a more approachable, earlier-drinking counterpart to the estate's Barbaresco crus.

Beginner's Note

The most approachable Nebbiolo in the range — a friendly introduction before stepping up to the estate's Barbaresco crus.

Sommelier's Note

"This is Nebbiolo without the wait — all the perfume and structure the variety is famous for, ready to drink years before the Barbarescos."

Food Pairings

Bright acidity and moderate tannin make this a flexible red for the table — try it with grilled sausage, veal scaloppine, or tomato-based pasta.

When to drink it

Casual dinners, everyday Nebbiolo drinking, introducing friends to the grape variety.
