About this wine
Magia is Cantina Francone's Roero Arneis DOCG, made from grapes picked about a week later than typical, when they turn golden, to build extra richness and texture. The nose offers fresh citrus, pear and nectarine with floral hints of broom and chamomile and spicy notes of sage and thyme; the palate is savory and medium-bodied, with tangy acidity, juicy pear, pineapple, grapefruit and a saline mineral finish.
An easy, aromatic white that's a friendly entry point into Piedmont's white wines.
Sommelier's Note
"Francone's late-picked approach gives Magia more texture than most Roero Arneis at this level — worth seeking out."
Food Pairings
A versatile white for seafood antipasti, fried calamari, and vegetable-forward pasta dishes; its saline finish also works well with soft, fresh cheeses.
When to drink it
Casual aperitivo, seafood lunches, warm-weather gatherings.

SweetSparklingMoscato Bianco
This Moscato d'Asti DOCG comes from the historic Gallina hill in Neive, one of the area's most prized cru sites. Pale lemon in color, it shows expressive aromas of guava, pear, candy and white flower blossom, with the classic Moscato d'Asti sweetness, medium acidity, a fine mousse and low alcohol on the palate, finishing long.

Barbaresco Albesani
RedNebbiolo
Introduced from the 2020 vintage alongside Starderi, Barbaresco Albesani comes from the Albesani MGA, whose soil — rich in limestone, clay and silt — is similar to the neighboring Gallina vineyard. Production is limited to around 3,000 bottles, with the wine showing sweet red fruit, floral and toasted notes typical of Francone's Barbaresco crus.
バルバレスコ・ファウゾーニ
Barbaresco Fausoni
RedNebbiolo
Barbaresco Fausoni comes from the Fausoni cru, one of the sixty-six officially recognized MGA vineyards of Barbaresco DOCG, on a south-west-facing slope west of Neive at 260 meters elevation. Aromas of bramble, redcurrant, nutmeg, dried blackberry and forest floor lead to a deep, complex wine, matured 24 months in French oak — 70% in large old barrels and 30% in new barriques — capable of aging 15 to 20 years.
バルバレスコ・ガッリーナ
Barbaresco Gallina
RedNebbiolo
Barbaresco Gallina comes from the Gallina cru, the most celebrated vineyard in Neive and one of the first crus ever mentioned on local producers' labels, as documented in Renato Ratti's historic Barbaresco cru map. South/south-west facing, it gives Nebbiolo wines of depth and extreme elegance: restrained aromas of violets and roses, pomegranate fruit and spicy depth, full-bodied yet fresh with firm, velvety tannins.
バルバレスコ・リゼルヴァ
Barbaresco Riserva
RedNebbiolo
Francone's Barbaresco Riserva has repeatedly scored 90+ points in Decanter's Barbaresco vintage reports. Aged 36 months in French oak casks and barrels, it shows traditional aromas of small dried berries, cassis, cola and pressed violets, with a tight, tannic structure that rewards 5 to 10 years of further cellaring.
バルバレスコ・スタルデリ
Barbaresco Starderi
RedNebbiolo
Introduced from the 2020 vintage, Barbaresco Starderi comes from the Starderi MGA in Neive, whose clay-marl soil overlooks the Tanaro river, moderating the local microclimate. Limited to around 3,000 bottles, it shows sweet red cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, marzipan and raspberry coulis, with smooth tannins and harmonious acidity.
