Campo alla Sughera

Cabernet Sauvignon · Merlot

About this wine

Campo alla Sughera's Bolgheri Rosso DOC, a more immediate and approachable expression of the estate built from hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon (about 60%) and Merlot (about 40%). Bright ruby red in color, it opens with herbaceous notes, black fruit and black cherry, moving to plum, ripe fruit, spice and light toasting from wood aging, finishing with balanced tannins and a touch of licorice.

Beginner's Note

The friendliest way into Campo alla Sughera's style — juicy, fresh and easy to enjoy without much wine knowledge needed.

Sommelier's Note

"Adèo is proof that Bolgheri's everyday wine can still over-deliver — it drinks like a wine twice its price."

Food Pairings

Its bright fruit and mild tannins make it a versatile match for grilled lamb with rosemary, pasta all'amatriciana, or Japanese-style yakiniku with tare sauce.

When to drink it

Weeknight dinners, casual gatherings with friends, everyday Bolgheri drinking.
