About this wine
Pergolaia is Caiarossa's Sangiovese-led red, typically composed of roughly 75-80% Sangiovese with Merlot and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. After malolactic fermentation the blend ages about 12 months in large, previously-used 500-liter casks, favoring fruit purity and elegance over overt oak influence.

Sommelier's Note
"Pergolaia shows what Sangiovese can do outside Chianti's rules — juicy, spice-inflected, and immediately gratifying without sacrificing terroir character."

カイアロッサ
Caiarossa
RedMerlot · Cabernet Franc · Cabernet Sauvignon · Syrah · Petit Verdot · Sangiovese · Grenache
The estate's flagship wine and namesake, Caiarossa is a seven-grape field blend drawn from the property's biodynamically farmed parcels around Riparbella. After malolactic fermentation, the winery's technical team tastes every single-variety, single-parcel lot and assembles the final blend to express the vintage's character, typically led by Syrah and Cabernet Franc alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and a small portion of Grenache. The wine ages roughly 14 months in French oak barriques before bottling.

Aria di Caiarossa
RedCabernet Franc · Merlot · Syrah · Cabernet Sauvignon · Grenache
Aria di Caiarossa is the estate's Bordeaux-leaning second wine, built entirely from French varieties selected from the Nocolino vineyard — typically Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Grenache, with proportions shifting by vintage. It ages about 13 months in French oak barriques, roughly 15% new.
カイアロッサ ビアンコ
Caiarossa Bianco
WhiteChardonnay · Viognier · Vermentino
Caiarossa Bianco is the estate's dry white, a blend led by Chardonnay and Viognier with a portion of Vermentino, some of it fermented in amphora. Proportions shift by vintage (the 2022, for example, was roughly 45% Chardonnay and 55% Viognier), producing a medium-bodied white with mineral and saline character from the estate's iron-rich soils.

Oro di Caiarossa
WhiteSweetPetit Manseng
Oro di Caiarossa is Caiarossa's rare dessert wine made from 100% hand-harvested Petit Manseng. Spontaneous fermentation, carried out in French oak barriques, unfolds slowly over more than a year, and the wine ages roughly 10 months in barrique. Production is tiny — around 1,450 bottles per year — making it one of the estate's most sought-after labels, typically bottled in 500ml.
エッセンツィア ディ カイアロッサ
Essenzia
RedPetit Verdot · Cabernet Franc · Cabernet Sauvignon · Syrah · Alicante
Essenzia is Caiarossa's rarest and most exclusive label — a magnum-only special bottling produced solely in exceptional vintages when a single varietal lot or micro-blend stands out from the harvest. Its composition changes with every release: past editions have been Syrah-Alicante (2009), Cabernet Sauvignon-Alicante (2011), 100% Cabernet Franc (2012), and Petit Verdot-based blends in more recent years. It is not made annually.
