RedNebbiolo
From a 1.7-hectare parcel planted in 1969 in the Rio Sordo cru of Barbaresco — the vineyard's name comes from 'sorì', the Piedmontese word for a sun-facing slope. The mixed clay-and-sand soils and near-due-south exposure give a wine of deep garnet color with an ethereal bouquet of wild roses, violets, licorice, wild berries, cinnamon, and cloves, framed by full, velvety tannins.
