About this wine
Blandy's 10 Year Old Bual is a medium-rich Madeira made from 100% Bual grapes and matured for an average of ten years in seasoned American oak casks using the canteiro system. It shows a deep amber colour with golden edges, and offers soft aromas of Seville orange marmalade, quince, honeycomb and walnuts. The palate is well balanced, with marmalade, cinnamon, cardamom and candied orange peel, finishing with a gentle hint of ginger.

Blandy's 10 Year Old Malmsey Madeira
fortifiedMalmsey
Blandy's 10 Year Old Malmsey is the richest and sweetest of Blandy's noble grape styles, made from Malvasia grown mainly around São Jorge on Madeira's north coast. Aged an average of ten years via the canteiro system, it shows an intense golden-brown mahogany colour with green reflections. The nose combines marmalade, fig and burnt sugar with pungent clove and sandalwood, while the palate layers dried walnut, nectarine, apricot peel, coffee and fig leaves against a lusciously sweet, well-balanced core, finishing with honeyed walnuts and glazed apple.
ブランディーズ セルシアル 10年 マデイラ
Blandy's 10 Year Old Sercial Madeira
fortifiedSercial
Blandy's 10 Year Old Sercial is the driest and brightest style in the Blandy's range, made from grapes grown on Madeira's cooler, higher-altitude vineyards. Aged for an average of ten years using the traditional canteiro method, it shows a light amber colour with green tinges. The nose offers dried citrus peel, toasted almonds, sea salt and green tea, while the bone-dry, finely etched palate delivers orange zest, hazelnut and a briny tang, carried by racy acidity to a long, mouthwatering finish.

Blandy's 20-Year-Old Verdelho Madeira
fortifiedVerdelho
Blandy's 20-Year-Old Verdelho is a masterful expression of Madeira's unique winemaking tradition. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards, this medium-dry wine undergoes the traditional canteiro aging process in seasoned oak casks for two decades. It displays a brilliant amber color with golden highlights. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of dried fruits, roasted nuts, honey, and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is characterized by a vibrant acidity that balances the richness, leading to a long, clean, and persistent finish that defines the elegance of the Verdelho grape.

Blandy's Alvada 5 Years Old Madeira
fortifiedBual · Malmsey
Launched in the early 2000s, Blandy's Alvada is a distinctive 50/50 blend of Bual and Malmsey grapes, aged an average of five years and finished in new oak — a departure from the traditional single-varietal Madeira range. It shows an amber colour with a greenish tinge at the rim, lifted aromas of dried fruit with a touch of balsamic and mocha, and a smooth, figgy palate with a hint of coconut from the new oak, leading to a long, bright finish.
