Hand-harvested Nebbiolo undergoes thermo-controlled fermentation with an extended maceration of roughly 300 hours, then ages about 24 months in a mix of large oak botti and barriques followed by 6 months in bottle. The result is an intense, still-bright garnet-red wine with fruit aromas underscored by lively acidity, notes of tar, tanned leather and graphite emerging with air, polished tannins and firm structure — a faithful, entry-point expression of the house style.

A single-vineyard Barolo from the celebrated Rocche dell'Annunziata cru in La Morra, one of the most storied crus in the entire Barolo zone. From a 0.8-hectare, southeast-facing parcel trained in classic Guyot, the wine ferments at around 34°C with gentle, frequent pumpovers and a long maceration of roughly 350 hours, then ages about 26 months in oak barrels and barriques plus 6 months in bottle. It shows a lush, fleshy nose of China Calissaia bark, pipe tobacco, dried flowers, plum and cedar, with fine structure and power smoothed by bright acidity — elegant, complex, and built for the cellar.
