About this wine
Named for one of the three daughters of Anna Lisa Nada and Elvio Cazzaro, this Barbaresco is drawn from the estate's oldest vines — a plot of Nebbiolo planted in 1947 in the Rombone cru, on south-facing slopes at roughly 300m. Low yields and old-vine concentration give a fuller, more structured wine than the Valeirano bottling. Macerated around 10 days in steel, then aged 18-20 months in 30hl casks; production is limited to about 4,000 bottles a year.
A richer, old-vine expression of Barbaresco — best approached after trying the estate's Valeirano.
Sommelier's Note
"From vines planted before the estate's current owners were born — Rombone Elisa is Ada Nada's most concentrated, old-vine statement of Nebbiolo."
Food Pairings
Full-bodied enough for game and roasted red meats — try it with braised wild boar, duck ragù, or aged Parmigiano Reggiano.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Why is this wine called Rombone Elisa?
- It's named after Elisa, one of the three daughters of the current owners, and comes from the Rombone cru — the estate's historic home vineyard since 1919.
- What makes the vineyard special?
- The plot was planted in 1947, making it the oldest Nebbiolo vines on the estate; low yields from these old vines give the wine unusual concentration and structure.

- Rombone Elisa is fuller-bodied and more structured, reflecting old-vine intensity, while Valeirano tends toward a more perfumed, elegant profile.

バルバレスコ ヴァレイラーノ
Barbaresco Valeirano
RedNebbiolo
Ada Nada's flagship Barbaresco, sourced from the prized Valeirano cru in Treiso — south-facing calcareous marl slopes at 250-350m. Fermented in steel and aged roughly 18 months in a mix of large Slavonian oak botti and barriques, it shows the elegant, perfumed side of Nebbiolo from Treiso rather than the more powerful style of Barbaresco proper.
バルバレスコ リゼルヴァ チキン
Barbaresco Riserva Cichin
RedNebbiolo
Ada Nada's top wine, a Barbaresco Riserva from the Cichin cru within Rombone — 55-year-old, south-facing vines harvested only when fully ripe. Aged for an extended 36-50 months in large oak botte, it is deep garnet with age, showing rose, spice, truffle, and leather over a core of ripe cherry and plum, framed by silky but firm tannins.
ランゲ ネッビオーロ セレーナ
Langhe Nebbiolo Serena
RedNebbiolo
Named for another of the family's daughters, this Langhe Nebbiolo offers an earlier-drinking, more affordable introduction to the estate's Nebbiolo style — fresh red fruit and classic rose-petal aromatics with softer tannins than the Barbaresco bottlings.
バルベーラ・ダルバ ピエリン
Barbera d'Alba Pierin
RedBarbera
A blend of fruit from two neighboring vineyards, named after the family associate who supplied much of the old-vine fruit. Grown on southeast-facing slopes of white marl at 200-350m, this Barbera shows the grape's signature juicy acidity balanced by ripe dark fruit.
バルベーラ・ダルバ スペリオーレ サルガ
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Salgà
RedBarbera
A more structured, barrel-aged step up from the estate's everyday Barbera, released under the Superiore designation. Grown on the same white marl soils as Pierin, it undergoes extended aging that adds depth and roundness while keeping Barbera's trademark acidity intact.
ドルチェット・ダルバ アウティノット
Dolcetto d'Alba Autinot
RedDolcetto
A soft, early-drinking Dolcetto from vines on southerly-facing calcareous marl slopes at 200-350m. Hand-harvested in early September, fermented in steel with about a week of maceration, then given a short cold stabilization before bottling — a straightforward, fruit-forward red meant to be enjoyed young.
