Château Bel-Air La Royère is a 14-hectare family estate located in Cars, on the right bank of the Gironde Estuary within the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Acquired in 1992 by Corinne Chevrier-Loriaud, a 4th-generation winemaker descending from a family of Cognac producers in the Charente, the estate has been transformed into one of the appellation's benchmark producers. In 1995, Corinne reintroduced Malbec — which she poetically calls 'the illegitimate child of the Bordeaux vineyards' — to the vineyard, setting the estate apart from conventional Bordeaux producers. Her pioneering use of Malbec, sometimes reaching 35–50% of blends or vinified as a pure varietal, gives the wines a distinctive spicy depth and velvety texture. The estate converted to certified organic farming in 2019, following years of sustainable practices. Corinne also experiments with innovative aging methods including amphorae and Cognac casks, a nod to her family heritage. The 90%-women-led team has earned recognition from Robert Parker, Decanter, Revue des Vins de France, Figaro, and Bettane et Dessauve, and a Gold Medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2020. The Château Bel-Air La Royère Blanc also achieved world fame as a featured wine in the legendary manga series 'Les Gouttes de Dieu' (Drops of God).

Château Belair Saint-Georges is a family estate founded in 1978 by Yannick Le Menn, located on one of the highest points of the Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion appellation — the smallest of Bordeaux's satellite appellations, covering just 180 hectares. The vineyards extend over 12 hectares in a single block, planted on clay over asterias limestone with optimal south-facing exposure. The blend is led by 40% old indigenous Merlot vines alongside 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and small plots of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Since 2023, the estate has been led by brothers Nicolas Le Menn (Doctor of Oenology, formerly Veuve Clicquot/LVMH) and Thomas Le Menn. The estate holds HVE (High Environmental Value) certification and produces three distinctive ranges: the flagship Château Belair Saint-Georges aged in barrel, the second wine Château Belair Montaiguillon for freshness and accessibility, and experimental cuvées including Les 3 Sans (no added sulfites, no fining, no wood) and Agios Georgios featuring the Greek Agiorgitiko variety planted in Saint-Georges.

Château Belgrave is a Fifth Growth (5ème Grand Cru Classé) estate classified in the famous 1855 Bordeaux Classification, located in the commune of Saint-Laurent-Médoc in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The estate sits on two gravel hillocks rising to 23 and 26 metres, deposited over millennia by the Gironde River, directly bordering Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien — so close that a slight shift in boundaries could have placed it in the more prestigious commune. Château Belgrave has been managed by the Bordeaux négociant Dourthe since 1979. Under Dourthe's stewardship, winemaking was comprehensively modernised from 1990 onward: all chemical fertilisers were eliminated, yields reduced, and fruit harvested at full physiological ripeness. The 59-hectare vineyard — one of the rare classified growths to remain unchanged in size since 1855 — is planted to 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Vinification takes place plot by plot in 33 stainless-steel tanks, and the wine is aged for 15–24 months in French oak barriques (40–60% new, depending on the vintage). A second wine, Diane de Belgrave — named for the goddess of the hunt in tribute to the estate's origins as a royal hunting lodge under Louis XV — has been produced since 1978. With consulting input from Michel Rolland, Château Belgrave produces approximately 20,000 cases per year and is widely regarded as one of the best-value classified growths in Bordeaux, combining genuine complexity with approachable pricing.

Château Beychevelle is a Fourth Growth (4ème Grand Cru Classé) estate in the Saint-Julien appellation, classified in the historic 1855 Médoc hierarchy. The château's name derives from the Old French 'Baisse-Voile' (lower sails), as ships passing the estate were required to lower their sails in tribute to Jean-Louis Nogaret de La Valette, Admiral of France and Duke of Épernon, who owned the property during the reign of Henri III. Today the château's emblem features a ship with a griffin on its prow — the mythological guardian of Dionysus' wine crater. Built in the 17th century and reconstructed in 1757 by Marquis de Brassier in a style that earned it the nickname 'the Versailles of the Médoc', the estate today encompasses 90 hectares of vines on deep Garonne gravel terroir. Winemaking is meticulous: manual and selective harvesting with triple sorting (at the plot, upon reception, and optical sorting), plot-by-plot vinification to express optimal terroir, and 18 months of aging in oak barrels with 50% new oak renewal per year.

Founded in 1464 on the Right Bank of the Gironde, Château Bourdieu is one of the most storied estates in the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. In 1993, Luc Schweitzer — who grew up passing the château on his way to boarding school and dreamed of one day owning it — purchased and transformed the property. Coming from a family of Algerian grapegrowers, Schweitzer brought a deep respect for terroir to the estate, expanding its vineyards to 75 hectares of clay, limestone and gravel soils uniquely suited to Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vines averaging 35 years of age are harvested at peak phenolic maturity, sorted rigorously, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks with macerations of 3–4 weeks to capture vivid fruit. The estate's range spans three tiers: the accessible Château Bourdieu, the selection-parcel N°1 (launched 2000), and the flagship Absolu (launched 2016 when Luc's sons Ludovic and Richard joined the estate). The 2023 vintage earned a Decanter Gold Medal with 95 points, and Absolu regularly scores 91+ from Wine Enthusiast.
