Premium Kyoho is a rosé wine from Wine Workshop Aizu made by blending Kyoho grapes with Steuben grapes, both grown in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. Like all of the winery's wines, it is fermented and aged in small 23-liter glass carboys rather than wood, so no oak character masks the fruit. The blend yields a rosé with abundant fruitiness and a clear, attractive color, bottled at 720ml and 12% ABV. As of 2026 the wine is sold out, with no confirmed date for a new release.

Sommelier's Note

One of the few Japanese rosés built on Kyoho, the country's most beloved table grape — proof that Kyoho's lush sweetness can carry a genuinely food-friendly dry wine.

New to wine?

A fruity, easy-drinking rosé blend — a gentle way to try Japan's beloved Kyoho grape in wine form.

Food Pairings

The rich berry sweetness and rosé-pink hue pair well with grilled dishes glazed in sweet-savory sauces, mild cheeses, and fruit-forward desserts; in Japanese cuisine it complements teriyaki-style grilled chicken and Aizu's own kozuyu soup.

When to drink it

Casual gatherings with friends, or a gift for those curious about Aizu's table-grape wines.
