Tenuta Le Mandorlaie

テヌータ・レ・マンドルライエ

Old-vine organic Sangiovese from Maremma's Morellino di Scansano zone.

Tenuta Le Mandorlaie is an organic wine estate and agriturismo located in the Mandorlaie locality near Scansano, in the Maremma area of southern Tuscany, within the Morellino di Scansano DOCG production zone. The estate spans over 40 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and natural forest, and is farmed organically without synthetic chemicals. Its old-vine Sangiovese plantings, some over 40 to 70 years old, form the backbone of Capricci, a single-vineyard IGT Toscana Rosso field blend that is fermented with controlled temperatures, macerated on the skins for around ten days, and aged in stainless steel followed by French oak. The estate also produces certified organic IGP extra virgin olive oil and operates a small guesthouse and trattoria on site, offering visitors an authentic, low-key introduction to Maremma's rural wine culture.
