Located in the heart of Suvereto, in the Alta Maremma area of coastal Tuscany, Tenuta Casadei is a pioneering estate founded by Stefano Casadei together with Californian wine entrepreneur Fred Cline of Sonoma's Cline Family Cellars. The 16-hectare estate is built on the 'BioIntegrale' philosophy, an approach that goes beyond organic and biodynamic farming to emphasize biodiversity, minimal human intervention (including the use of draft horses in the vineyard), and the integration of animals into the ecosystem. Diverse soils, from iron-rich hillside plots to sandy alluvial plains, produce elegant, powerful wines from international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre, released primarily under the Toscana IGT designation. Tenuta Casadei is counted, alongside Tua Rita and Petra, among the leading estates of the Suvereto wine district.
