A medium-bodied red blend of Kai Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, both grown and harvested at Shikishima Winery's own estate vineyard in the Bodai district of Kamezawa, Kai City, Yamanashi, at roughly 600m elevation. The two varieties are fermented separately and then blended before careful aging in oak barrels, yielding aromas of cassis and violet, gentle oak character, and a smooth, layered medium body balanced by bright acidity.
Shikishima's most polished red blend — Kai Noir's soft red-fruit charm meets Cabernet Sauvignon's structure, rounded out by patient oak aging.
