FUJINO Pinot Noir is a single-varietal red made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in Sapporo Fujino Winery's own estate vineyard in the Fujino district of Sapporo. Fermented with wild yeast and bottled in very limited quantities, it shows an orange-tinged ruby color with delicate aromas of red berries such as raspberry and cassis, along with subtle notes of ume and beet. The palate is soft and gentle, with light acidity, a hint of vanilla, and a sweet, rounded texture that finishes with a faint, lingering bitterness — an elegant, slightly rustic expression of cool-climate Pinot Noir.

Sommelier's Note

One of the rare, small-lot Pinot Noirs made entirely from Hokkaido-grown fruit — its soft texture and quiet red-berry charm make it a benchmark for what cool-climate Sapporo Pinot Noir can be.
