Sainte Neige Winery's standard-line orange wine made from 100% Yamanashi-grown Koshu grapes, harvested late to maximize skin color and sugar-acid balance. Unlike the winery's single-vineyard Makioka Koshu Orange Wine (made from the estate's contracted Maejima plot), this cuvée is a broader, everyday-tier bottling sourced more widely across Yamanashi Prefecture and sold in a smaller 300ml format at a lower price point. The must is fermented on its skins (maceration) to extract color, tannin and aromatic complexity. The wine shows a clear reddish-orange hue reminiscent of dawn, with sweet apricot and honey aromas layered with fresh orange-peel citrus notes, pleasant skin-derived tannin and richness, and a dry finish.
Sainte Neige's most accessible orange wine — a compact 300ml bottle that lets first-timers taste skin-contact Koshu without committing to a full bottle or a premium price.
