Parcel-focused Bouzy Grand Cru from an eighth-generation family

About Pierre Paillard

Pierre Paillard is a family-run Champagne grower estate based in Bouzy, a Grand Cru village of the Montagne de Reims. The Paillard family has farmed vines in Bouzy for over 200 years, and today the eighth generation, brothers Antoine and Quentin Paillard, run the estate. Its roughly 11 hectares of Bouzy vineyards, planted to Pinot Noir and an unusually high share of Chardonnay for the village, are bottled parcel by parcel as Bouzy Grand Cru cuvées such as Les Parcelles, Les Terres Roses and La Grande Récolte. Since 2018 the house has also made wines from selected Montagne de Reims terroirs such as Ambonnay and Verzenay.
