Chanmoris Minori no Shukaku White Sweet ("Fruit of the Harvest") is a fresh, fruity sweet white wine from Morita Koshu Winery (Chanmoris), part of the winery's autumn 'Minori no Shukaku' nouveau-style series made from 100% Delaware grapes grown in Yamanashi Prefecture and picked in early summer. Vinified to preserve the grape's natural aromatics and sweetness, it retains plenty of natural organic acid for a juicy, fresh-picked character alongside its gentle sweetness -- the sweet white member of the series alongside dry white, red, and rose bottlings, typically released each autumn with the new vintage.

Sommelier's Note

A textbook expression of Japanese Delaware -- the fresh-picked grape aroma and gentle sweetness come through almost unfiltered, making it one of the most approachable sweet whites in Chanmoris's new-release lineup.

New to wine?

An easy, approachable introduction to Japanese Delaware wine -- gently sweet, fresh, and never heavy.

Food Pairings

Its gentle sweetness and juicy Delaware fruit character pair naturally with fruit-forward desserts, mild cheeses, and lightly sweetened dishes. With Japanese food, it works well alongside sweet-savory simmered dishes (nimono), tempura with a light tentsuyu, and mildly seasoned grilled fish.

When to drink it

Casual gatherings, aperitif, or a light dessert wine for everyday drinking
