Monteria Rosé is Monde Winery's off-dry rosé blend of domestic Delaware and Yamanashi-grown Black Queen, part of the 'Monteria' line -- a name blending 'Monde' with the Latin 'taberna' (tavern/eatery), created to accompany everyday meals. Unlike its barrel-aged sibling Monteria Rouge, this bottling is fresh and unoaked: a bright ruby-pink wine with showy aromas of strawberry, cherry, and peach. Delaware contributes pure, juicy fruit while Black Queen supplies lively acidity and light tannin that keep the wine's off-dry sweetness from feeling heavy, resulting in a light, charming, easy-drinking rosé bottled in a standard 720ml glass bottle.
The lightest, most food-friendly entry point into Monde Winery's Monteria line -- proof that off-dry rosé doesn't have to be simple.
