K537 GI Yamanashi POSH is a dry sparkling wine from MGVs Winery made from 100% Koshu grapes sourced from the winery's own vineyards across three separate areas of Yamanashi Prefecture -- Katsunuma-cho in Koshu City, Ichinomiya-cho in Fuefuki City, and Hosaka-cho in Nirasaki City -- blended together under the broader GI Yamanashi designation. The must is a blend of free-run and lightly pressed juice. Unlike MGVs' 'K138 Katsunuma-cho POSH', which is a single-vintage, single-district (Katsunuma-cho only) sparkling wine made by the traditional method (bottle-fermented, méthode traditionnelle), K537 is a non-vintage (N.V.) blend across the wider GI Yamanashi appellation and is made by the Charmat (tank) method, in which the still base wine undergoes its second fermentation in stainless steel tank rather than in the bottle. This preserves Koshu's delicate, fragrant character and yields fine, smooth bubbles in a refreshing, dry style meant to be served well chilled. 750ml, 12.5% ABV.
A GI Yamanashi blend that shows Koshu's aromatic delicacy through a gentle Charmat-method fizz -- more approachable, blended and everyday-friendly than MGVs' single-district, bottle-fermented K138 Katsunuma-cho POSH.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What grape is K537 GI Yamanashi POSH made from?
- It is made from 100% Koshu, Japan's signature white grape, sourced from MGVs Winery's own vineyards across three areas of Yamanashi Prefecture.
- How is K537 GI Yamanashi POSH made sparkling?
- It uses the Charmat (tank) method -- the still base wine undergoes a second fermentation in stainless steel tank rather than in the bottle, which preserves Koshu's delicate aromatics.
- How is K537 GI Yamanashi POSH different from MGVs' K138 Katsunuma-cho POSH?
- K537 blends Koshu grapes from three separate areas of Yamanashi under the broader GI Yamanashi designation and is non-vintage, made by the Charmat (tank) method. K138 is sourced only from the single Katsunuma-cho district, carries a single vintage, and is made by the traditional bottle-fermented method -- so the two differ in both region and production method.

- Is K537 GI Yamanashi POSH a vintage wine?
- No, it is a non-vintage (N.V.) sparkling wine, blended each release for a consistent house style.
