First Harvest Delaware Nigori is the first wine of each year's harvest from Mars Yamanashi Winery (Hombo Shuzo), bottled while still on active fermentation lees in the traditional Japanese 'nigori' (cloudy) style. Made from 100% Yamanashi-grown Delaware grapes, it captures the fresh-pressed juice's character in the bottle, delivering vivid fruit aromas, a soft, natural effervescence, and refreshing sweetness. Released in small, seasonal quantities each autumn, it typically sells out quickly.

Sommelier's Note

The lees-driven texture and soft fizz of this nigori style amplify Delaware's juicy sweetness — this is nouveau wine at its most vivid.
