Le Batossay is the estate of Baptiste Cousin, who started it in 2012 around Martigné-Briand in Anjou and farms from the Château de Boisairault. Baptiste is the son of Olivier Cousin. The vines are certified organic and the wines are made with indigenous yeasts, unfiltered and unfined, from Chenin Blanc, Grolleau, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc.
