La Cave des Vins de Sancerre, also known as Cave de Sancerre, is a winegrowers' cooperative at 682 avenue de Verdun at the entrance to the town of Sancerre. It was created in 1963 when several Sancerre growers came together to share a winemaking and trading tool, and it is the only cooperative in the Sancerre appellation. Its members are spread across twelve communes. It makes Sancerre, mainly Sauvignon Blanc whites, with reds, and its cuvées include Les Garennes. The cellar offers tastings and direct sales.
