MORINE Ogosso Rosé Merlot is a 100% Merlot rosé from Kirinoka Vineyards & Winery's casual-yet-authentic MORINE Ogosso series, grown in Nagano Prefecture — 'Ogosso' meaning 'a delicious feast' in the local dialect. The grapes were harvested slightly earlier than usual to preserve fresh, vivid acidity, and the wine was produced using two methods, direct pressing and saignée, to build a rosé with appealing aromatics and rich color. The result is a gentle, easy-drinking dry rosé with vibrant fruit character, equally enjoyable on its own or with a wide range of dishes.

Sommelier's Note

A rare dry Merlot rosé from Nagano — the early harvest and dual direct-press/saignée technique give it a depth of color and aroma that outshines many casual rosés at this price.
