François Secondé
フランソワ・スゴンデ
The only grower making pure Sillery Grand Cru Champagne
About François Secondé
François Secondé is a récoltant-manipulant based in Sillery, the Grand Cru village south of Reims on the Montagne de Reims. The estate farms about 5.5 hectares, roughly two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay, across Sillery and neighbouring Grand Cru villages such as Puisieulx, Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay. François Secondé began as a vineyard worker before buying his first vineyard and launching his own Champagne. He is described as the only grower producing a pure Sillery Champagne. Since 2023 the estate has used no herbicides or insecticides.
