Fattoria di Magliano
ファットリア・ディ・マリアーノ
Organic Maremma estate crafting elegant, mineral-driven Sangiovese and Vermentino.
Founded in the late 1990s by Agostino Lenci, a successful entrepreneur from the footwear industry, Fattoria di Magliano is a leading organic estate in the Maremma area of southern Tuscany, within the comune of Magliano in Toscana — part of the Morellino di Scansano DOCG production zone. The 97-hectare property includes some 45-50 hectares under vine across three vineyards (Colle Sterpeti, Vigna Tizzi, and Poggio Bestiale), sloping from roughly 300 meters down toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, Monte Argentario, and the island of Giglio. Sandy, skeletal soils and cooling sea breezes shape wines of notable fruit intensity, elegant structure, and distinct minerality, built around the region's signature grapes, Sangiovese and Vermentino, alongside international varieties. The estate has farmed organically since 2011 and achieved full organic certification across its wines starting with the 2016 vintage, with consulting oenologist Graziana Grassini shaping a house style focused on freshness, elegance, and acidity. Fattoria di Magliano also offers wine tourism, including a restaurant and on-site lodging.
