Kofu Sparkling Rose Passion is a rosé sparkling wine jointly developed by Domaine Q, Kofu City, and the University of Yamanashi's Institute of Enology and Viticulture. Made from 100% Kofu-grown Koshu and Muscat Bailey A grapes, it is fermented with indigenous yeast isolated from the moat of the historic Takeda Shrine in Kofu, making it an entirely Kofu-grown, Kofu-fermented wine. The 2023 vintage was awarded a Silver Medal at the Japan Wine Competition 2026 and carries the official 'Kofu no Akashi' (Proof of Kofu) certification for outstanding local specialty products. It shows vivid raspberry aromatics balanced by the depth and bright acidity characteristic of Koshu, finished in a medium-dry style. Bottled at 720ml.
A rare example of true 'hyper-local' winemaking — grapes, yeast, and research all sourced from within Kofu City itself. The Takeda Shrine yeast gives this rosé sparkling a story as compelling as its bright raspberry character.

Also pairs well with light appetizers, fresh seafood, and grilled vegetables, and its fruit-forward profile complements desserts such as roasted marshmallows or fruit tarts.
