Château Gillet
シャトー・ジレ
Five-generation family estate producing approachable, velvety Bordeaux Supérieur since 1880
Château Gillet is a proud family estate in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, located near Faleyras in the Gironde. The Nadau family has tended these vines for five generations since 1880, cultivating 70 hectares of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc on the slopes above the Garonne. Under the guidance of expert oenologist Pascal Poussevin, traditional viticulture is married to modern winemaking techniques to produce wines of consistent quality. The wines are celebrated for their deep ruby color, vibrant red and black fruit aromas, and supple, velvety tannins — approachable yet satisfying, and excellent for everyday enjoyment. Note: Not to be confused with Château Gilette in Sauternes, which is an entirely different estate.
