Campo all'Upupa
RedCabernet Sauvignon · Merlot · Sangiovese
Campo all'Upupa is Campastrello I Socci's Bolgheri Rosso DOC, a blend of roughly 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Sangiovese from the estate's plain-side vineyards in Castagneto Carducci. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests in barrique for at least eight months and a further two months in bottle before release. It shows aromas of Mediterranean scrub, aromatic herbs and thyme, with a lively character, gentle tannins and a garrigue-scented finish.

Chiuso Tòrto
RedCabernet Sauvignon · Merlot · Sangiovese
Chiuso Tòrto is Campastrello I Socci's Bolgheri Superiore DOC, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grown on the estate's plots in the Castagneto Carducci plain, caressed by the libeccio sea wind. The Superiore designation calls for longer barrel and bottle aging than the estate's base Bolgheri Rosso, giving a wine with light notes of mushroom, cooked dark fruit and turmeric, framed by fresh acidity, tension and an inviting drinkability typical of the family's understated, terroir-focused style.
