Braida's Brachetto d'Acqui is a light, aromatic, gently sparkling sweet red made entirely from the native Brachetto grape, grown in the Acqui Terme area of Piedmont — the only DOCG-level frizzante red in Braida's range. Bright ruby red with purple highlights, it has a vigorous, highly perfumed nose of ripe red fruit, rose petal and violet, with a low-alcohol (around 5.5% ABV), delicately sweet and effervescent palate delivering juicy strawberry, raspberry and red currant. Its natural sweetness and light body make it a classic Piedmontese dessert wine, famously one of the few wines considered a genuine match for chocolate.
Brachetto d'Acqui is one of the very few wines that genuinely pairs with chocolate — light, fragrant and joyfully sweet, it turns dessert into a wine course rather than an afterthought.

Food Pairings
The classic pairing is dessert — fruit tarts, cream-based sweets, and famously chocolate, which few wines can match successfully. It's equally at home as an afternoon treat alongside pastries.
When to drink it
Dessert course, afternoon tea, celebrations, and pairing with chocolate.
