Boroli is a family-owned Barolo estate based at Cascina La Brunella in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe. The Boroli family, Piedmontese entrepreneurs since 1831 with roots in textiles and publishing, began winemaking in the 1990s under Silvano and Elena Boroli. Since 2001 their son Achille Boroli has led the estate, radically overhauling vineyard and cellar practices from the 2012 harvest onward - cutting yields, adopting low-intervention winemaking, and green harvesting to concentrate quality. Boroli farms plots across three historic Barolo communes: Castiglione Falletto (the monopole Brunella vineyard, documented since the 1600s), Barolo (Borgata Cerequio) and La Morra (Cascina Sorello), producing structured, terroir-driven Nebbiolo wines guided by Achille's philosophy of 'quality with no compromises.'
