Avignonesi's top-tier Riserva, produced only in excellent vintages from a selection of the finest grapes: roughly 85% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Garnet red with a bouquet of red berries and violet, full-bodied and round on the palate, with sweet red cherry, tobacco, cedar and a very long finish. Aged around 30 months in oak with a further 9 months of bottle refinement before release.
