Asahimachi Wine White is the winery's staple everyday white, built around Delaware and blended with Riesling Forte and Seibel 9110 — all grown by local farmers on the clay-rich, sloping terraces along the Mogami River in Asahi Town, Yamagata Prefecture. Fermented at low temperature to protect the delicate aromatics of Delaware, it pours pale straw and offers a slightly sweet, light-bodied profile with fresh grape and citrus fruit character and gentle acidity. Bottled at 11% ABV in a 720ml format, it is one of the winery's most widely available bottlings and a familiar entry point into Asahimachi Wine's range.

Sommelier's Note

A textbook example of how Delaware, Japan's most planted table grape, can be coaxed into a genuinely charming everyday wine when blended thoughtfully — this is Asahimachi Wine's most approachable calling card.
