Founded in 1699 by Jakob Melchisedec Heid and today run by Daniela and Markus Heid, the tenth generation of the family, Weingut Heid is based in Fellbach in Württemberg's Remstal district. A VDP member since 2013 and certified organic since 2007, the estate has moved away from the region's traditional high-yield Trollinger toward terroir-driven wines, with Riesling, Lemberger and Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) at the core of an 11-hectare portfolio anchored by the Fellbach Lämmler (VDP.Grosse Lage) and Goldberg (VDP.Erste Lage) vineyards.
