Weingut Desoi
ヴァイングート・デゾイ
A four-generation family winery on Bad Kreuznach's historic Galgenberg hill, now led by young European wine champion Florian Desoi.
About Weingut Desoi
Weingut Desoi is a family-owned winery in Bad Kreuznach in Germany's Nahe region. It was founded in 1924, when Philipp Desoi acquired a small, disused customs station on the historic Galgenberg hill at the edge of town, overlooking Bad Kreuznach toward the Rhine. Around 1950 his son Oskar Desoi expanded the property into a proper family wine business, bottling wine and supplying local taverns; in 1982 Albert Desoi took over, modernizing the cellar and focusing on wine quality and typicity. In 2025 the fourth generation, Florian Desoi, joined the estate after completing his winemaking training — the same year he won the overall title at the 16th Europea Wine Championship in South Tyrol, competing against roughly 60 young talents from about ten European countries. The estate cultivates 16 grape varieties, producing over 40 wines across red, white, rosé, Sekt/Secco sparkling wines, and spirits, sold through an on-site vinothek known for its self-service wine vending machines (with a second dispensing location) and vineyard-adjacent RV parking.
