Premier Cru Pierry growers' cooperative Champagne, led by Meunier

About Vincent d'Astrée

Vincent d'Astrée is the Champagne brand of the Pierry cooperative (Celliers de Pierry), based in Pierry near Épernay on the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay. The cooperative was created in 1956 by a handful of growers, and the grapes come from its members' Premier Cru vineyards in Pierry and neighbouring Moussy, planted to Meunier (55%), Chardonnay (25%) and Pinot Noir (20%). The range is split into assemblage and single-variety (monocépage) cuvées, made under cellar master Sébastien Lapierre, who joined in 2002 and aims for chalky, mineral, precise Champagnes.
