About Vignobles Verzier
Vignobles Verzier is a family wine estate in the hamlet of Izeras, above Chavanay on the right bank of the northern Rhône, producing Saint-Joseph and Condrieu. Philippe Verzier left the cooperative and began making his own wines on the family property in 1988; his sons Maxime and Alexis have since joined. The estate has been certified organic since 2013 and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2018. Known cuvées include Saint-Joseph La Madone and Empreinte and Condrieu Authentic, on granitic soils near the Madone d'Izeras.
