Independent family house in Reims, founded in 1985 by a former grape broker

About Thiénot

Champagne Thiénot was founded in 1985 by Alain Thiénot, who spent nearly two decades as a grape broker in Champagne before launching his own house. Based in Reims (headquarters in Taissy), it is an independent, family-owned house now run by his children Garance and Stanislas Thiénot, with Nicolas Uriel as cellar master since 2017. The house owns roughly 30 hectares, including Grand Cru parcels in Aÿ, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Avize and Premier Cru parcels in Dizy, Cumières, Damery and Pierry, supplying over half of its grape needs. It is the flagship house of the Alain Thiénot group, which also includes Canard-Duchêne, Joseph Perrier and Marie Stuart.
