Terradonnà is a family-run estate in Suvereto, on Tuscany's Etruscan Coast, on land once mined by the Etruscans for its mineral-rich subsoil. The winery traces back to the Rossi family, who settled here from nearby Casalappi in the 1950s; today it is led by Annalisa Rossi together with her husband Mauro and son Michele, with consulting enologist Luca D'Attoma overseeing production. Terradonnà — 'land handed down from woman to woman' — is a tribute to Annalisa's mother. The estate combines traditional vinification in vitrified cement vats with modern viticulture, farming vineyards a few kilometers from the sea whose iron-rich soils and mild, sea-tempered microclimate shape the character of its wines. Its flagship, Okenio, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon produced since 2002, put the winery on the map internationally. Terradonnà is a member of the Consorzio Suvereto e Val di Cornia and places strong emphasis on family-style hospitality and vineyard tastings.
