Located in the heart of the Medici hills in Carmignano (province of Prato), just 10 km from Florence, Tenuta di Castelvecchio is a family-run estate founded in 1975 by Roberto Pinori. Now guided by the second and third generations (his daughter Romina and granddaughter Virginia), the estate covers approximately 40 hectares, with around 10-21 hectares under vine at an average altitude of 250 meters. The winery is an active member of the Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini di Carmignano. It produces Carmignano DOCG, Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC, Vin Ruspo, Vin Santo di Carmignano, and the Le Mannelle IGT, alongside extra virgin olive oil, while also offering agriturismo tastings and vineyard tours.
