About Stettyn Family Vineyards
Stettyn Family Vineyards is a historic wine estate in South Africa's Breede River Valley, near Worcester, with land grants dating back to 1714. The Botha family has owned and farmed the property since 1818, and the estate — now spanning 438 hectares across the Stettyn, Jonkersrivier, De Hoek and Glenrosa vineyards — is run by the eighth generation of the family. Stettyn Cellar was established in 1963, producing its first vintage in 1964, and today crafts everything from easy-drinking Family and Classic range wines to oak-matured Signature Reserve bottlings and Cap Classique sparkling wine. The estate's whitewashed tasting room sits beside a Cape Dutch homestead built in 1777, now a National Monument, marking the final stop on the Worcester Wine and Olive Route.
